From first reading Truman’s story in True Blue I have been patiently waiting for Quincy’s story…I thought I knew what Quincy went through from that book but honestly we only got a little glimpse – he suffered so much more than I thought. The Gritty Truth definitely doesn’t hold back!!! It’s raw, heartbreaking, sad, funny and sinfully sexy!!
Roni is a shy sweet young woman who’s had her own sufferings in the past- from her childhood, to a freak car accident that stole her dream. Meeting and falling in love with Quincy has given Roni a whole new dream, one that both of them would do anything to make come true. Until someone from Quincy’s past catches up to him..
I read this in one sitting- honest to god couldn’t put it down – it made me laugh, cry and my heart was in my throat on more than one occasion. It’s a definite HAVE TO READ of 2020. Melissa Foster knows how to write characters that know what the true meaning of FAMILY is!! Can’t wait for more Whiskey stories…….

Without a doubt it’s another 5 star read and one you will get totally lost in. It’s a story of second chance childhood lovers, a horrible accident made them drift apart with Zev’s feelings of unwarranted guilt that kept them apart. Zev and Carly were the best of friends until that tragic accident. Now they are meeting again at Beau and Char’s wedding after years of not seeing each other and yes the chemistry and zing is still most definitely there!! No matter the past they are still very much drawn together which leads to a heart warming love story unfolding of healing, love laughter tears and most importantly a well deserved Happily Ever After!!

My Review:

This is the type of series where every book can be finished in one sitting which is exactly what I did, because I couldn’t wait to see how this all played out between Knox and Aubrey. Aubrey is relationship shy and very sweet it takes a lot to let her gaurd down and enjoy Knox to the fullest. Knocking down Aubrey’s walls seem like a big task but luckily Knox is up for the job. This book was romantic, steamy, funny, sweet and extremely enjoyable. I Loved catching up with past characters and getting a glimpse at future characters. Well worth an all nighter!!!
