As this was my first read from Rebecca Shea I didn’t know what to expect, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Broken by Lies is book #1 in a brand new series by the Rebecca Shea and is totally gripping from start to finish, the story line is amazing and the chemistry between the characters is very well written. It’s full of twists and turns and I loved Emilia and Alex. It has everything you want in a romantic suspense – action packed, suspense-filled and one hell of a roller coaster ride. As it ends on a cliff-hanger I don’t want to give anything away other than you need to read this book TODAY!!!

I liked this book not as much as book #1 Broken By Lies, but It did have you all over the place, guessing what’s next and being wrong and that’s never a bad thing in a book for me, the built up and anticipation as we get answers to everything and conclusions to all the lies that built up in book #1. It’s so hard to review when you don’t want to spoil it for others!!
You will cry with Emilia during some of this book. It was heart-breaking at times, but very strong in telling Emilia’s story. I was so happy Alex was able to stand up for himself and distance himself from his family. Just like the first book it gives you your fix for a romantic suspense – love laughter tears angst and super sexy scenes. Awesome finish to this duet
